Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Previous night was poor, but last night was good. Two strong dreams with lots of dreamsigns. In the second dream I saw a dreamsign- stairs - and decided it would be a good time to RC. Unfortunately I didn't do the RC mindfully and missed out on a chance.

An observation about dream recall
I've been thinking about dream recall and I've realised that sometimes in dreams I perceive things conceptually , and sometimes I perceive things visually. For example, I robbed a bank in a dream. We took the cash and ran to the getaway car. As we drove away I kept looking at the car behind to try ...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Had a couple of quiet nights dreamwise, but last night sure made up for that! A night of vivid dreams packed with dreamsigns. I hope I get the same again tonight! And a lucid one wouldn't go amiss!

Yes, I agree with all of that. When I have tried to incubate dreams in the past, content from the incubation has included itself in that night's dreams.

Went to bed last night without any plan of action. Woke at 7am this morning with reasonable recall of a dream packed with dreamsigns. Good progress.

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Not much happened last night. I woke naturally at 3.45 and did some visualisation. One dream recalled. Dream events occurred next to a river (which is a dreamsign) by recall is vague.

Re: Goodbyeish for now 12padams
Yes, I agree with Jeff. Changing your expectations and phase-related workload is an option. You don't need to make any big all-or-nothing decision. Maybe just have a break and see where you end up. Maybe it's time to move on, or maybe the phase will be an occasional hobby you come back to now and th...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
floods were a recurring theme for me Same here. Plus the seaside and rivers. I often get these dreams where I travel somewhere but do so by swimming rivers. I found myself paying more attention to dreams which would lead to consciousness. I'm saturating my brain with dream memories at the moment. I...

Re: Dream Lag
A week ago I started paying more attention to anchors/dreamsigns and last night those anchors saturated my dreams to a very surprising extent. Will continue to experiment.

Dream Lag
This is a very interesting chunk of information from a post ( http://www.luciddaydreaming.com/ ) about lucid daydreaming by Tim Post (Who runs Lucidipedia.com) Research suggests that it takes 7 to 9 days for daytime events to be incorporated in a night's dreams. Have you experienced this? Fascinatin...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Gosh, Summerlander, you're a dark horse! Ha ha ;) I'm expecting the tidal waves to make a reappearance in future dreams. I've had them before. Watch this space. At the moment I am focusing only on becoming conscious in dreams but I can see me creeping back to indirect techs at some point. I'll play...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Intriguing night last night... Dream 1 A tidal wave dream, non-lucid. An area of the sea had been drained away and I visited the area. Needless to say, whatever was keeping the sea back failed and I saw a gigantic tidal wave heading straight for me. I woke up at that point. WBTB I woke up at 4am, st...

If you wish to turn into a dragon, for instance, do try to feel what it's like to be one with all your sensations. Not entirely sure where the dragon idea came from. I'm not really into the fantasy/wizard thing like my wife is. I think the idea of breathing fire appeals though. I'm thinking that tr...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
At last! Dry spell ended last night. Possibly a degree of simulated lucidity or maybe I lost a little lucidity in the dream, but I'm taking it as a great step forward. In the dream, someone pulled a knife on me and I realised it was probably a dream at that point. I did a nose pinch check and could ...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Recall poor for two consecutive nights despite a lengthy WBTB and MILD techniques. Maybe it's time to take a break. Interestingly, last night no less than five dreams popped into my head about 8pm. What was amazing to me was how I could remember being IN the dreams - experiencing the sights of the d...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Three dreams recalled last night. All very poor clarity and recall was poor, even though I know the second dream lasted for a long time. The first two were about the phase, which is positive. In the first dream I was with a group of people who regularly entered another state. I think it's reasonable...

Re: A little stuck!
Summer Great account. I like the way you play the role of an observer and also the way you note the fascinating little changes where the brain gets the details "wrong". I believe I'm stuck in something of a rut as far as entering the phase is concerned. I believe this will end as soon as I...

Hey Twelvey I think I will try that. I will have a think about it today and let you know what I've decided to try. I love the way you write about your phase experiences, by the way. So full of life. Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
A good night, generally. I was in a dream and remembered about lucid dreaming. I did a nose pinch RC but, although I could still breathe, I kind of disregarded the result and carrried on in the dream without being lucid. Stuck in a bit of a rut.

A little stuck!
I've been focusing on becoming conscious in dreams (aka DILD) and I'm becoming unstuck at a certain point. I'm regularly (about one in three nights, I'd say) remembering to ask if I'm dreaming in a dream, then I do a nose pinch RC, then REGARDLESS OF THE RESULT OF THE NOSE PINCH I just carry on in t...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Recall good again last night. Also, for three consecutive nights I've experienced a conscious awakening. Last night I decided to take some action and try to separate but my mind was instantly flooded with images of a slide-show, with each image lasting about half a second. Then I decided to try rota...

Re: cant reach the phase
I have had the same problem. I'm not saying this is the way forward for you, but this is how I'm going to approach it: I'm going to focus on dream recall and trying to become conscious in dreams (DILD) and when these dreams end I will attempt separation. In SOBT, Mr Raduga gives guidance on when to ...

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Excellent dreams last night. I teamed up with a group of people and we controlled the height of waves for surfing purposes. I suppose I should also mention the alien invasion and my neighbour opening a pub for children. All interesting, non of them lucid, but I think it's going to be soon

Re: TheOnerous's blog of failures
Ill last night so no deliberate attempt, but the one short dream I remembered had some dream related content, which is good. Not going to make a deliberate attempt tonight, but if a lucid dream comes knocking on my door I'm not going to say no!
