Re: OBE Environment

I use the phase for obtaining informations very often in my life. Guys, what for I wrote all this stuff about this topic in both books on the site? I realy wonder sometimes... Read it and you will see that you can get information but not like lottery ticket. It has to be related with you somehow. I...

Re: OBE Environment

I don't know for 100%. Maybe. Sometimes. I think it depends on many conditions. For example, sometime you can see not past, but future I have experienced future information a few times, but nothing very useful. I have tried to get winning lottery ticket numbers but have long ago given up on this. [ ...

Re: OBEs Turning Dream-like on Occasion

BTW,don't get me wrong Michael. I totally appreciate your approach which avoids dogma and belief systems-your books stick to the facts. It is definitely time to clear things up and be scientific about the phase -throw out the rituals and bullshit- you've done a great job.I've been sharing your book ...

Re: OBEs Turning Dream-like on Occasion

Yes,I agree that OBEs and Lucid Dreams are variations of the same thing-the difference is in the timing and sensations -I think. I really do like the term "The Phase" to cover all of these experiences. I truly have come to believe that the phase is active and intelligent.I believe it is in...

Re: OBE Environment

If I understand you:Do you think there is a 'time lag'  between waking reality and it's representation to our ego consciousness in the phase?

OBEs Turning Dream-like on Occasion

I've found that sometimes in the phase ,after doing maintaining and reaching good stability, the content, interactions and environment can start to become more like a 'regular' dream after some time.In other words,I find that realness and coherence can sometimes fall apart,or disorganize at the end o...

OBE Environment

I am curious as to why I often OBE from a dreambody asleep in my old bedroom in my parent's home where I grew up. I find this very strange, the phase always puts me in an old version that existed before it was remodeled.Othertimes I OBE into a version of my own home that seems to be up to date. What ...

Re: Dry Spells

Hi Breadbassed, I think that's the idea if I understand what he's suggesting in the paper;but I would imagine the sleep would need to contain dreamless nREM-which would cause REM rebound. I don't know if it's really true but it seems to make good sense. I suppose it could also depend on what time sc...

Re: Dry Spells

Very interesting Michael, thanks it sounds like good advice.I may do this myself without realizing it ,because many nights I am very physically tired and do not try.I still phase 3-4times/week though. Last night I entered the phase twice after only 'regular' dreams for 4 days or so.... Here is a scie...

Re: "Dream Characters" and Conflict

'DC' = Dream Character.  The people that are encountered in the phase. Why do some of them want to fight sometimes? As I understand this is not uncommon.

"Dream Characters" and Conflict

I understand there is debate as to whether 'DC's possess sentience or not-many encounters in the phase strongly support that some do.

In either case,I'm curious about Michael's, and others ,thoughts as to why 'DC's are ocassionally (non)physically confrontational?

He means a period where -for some reason- you don’t succeed entering the phase.

Like me right now. Last week I did it four times and i thought “now I’ve got it! I’ll be able to do it whenever I want soonâ€

Dry Spells

Michael, I'm curious about your thoughts on dry spells. Do you have them? What way have you found best to deal with them ? For myself: I've found them useful for building up strong intention. They usually don't last more than a week and I've learned to be patient. The phase always returns,it's become...

Re: Maintaining

Yes,I know what you mean. I've used spinning and/or rubbing hands together for a long time,at least since reading Stephen Leberge's book. But I don't think I was putting the proper intention and focus into it. After awhile some of it seemed to have stopped working so well.I think it's good to have a...

Maintaining

I had good success this morning because of the great advice in the eBook in which I made a slight variation to. I had 4 back to back lengthy OBEs. I usually change environments by jumping through my ceiling;but lately when I do this I jump back into my body once I break contact with the ground if I ...

Re: Personal Proof

I believe the mistake in this test is believing that one is 'in' the physical world when out of body. In my experience, though there may be similarities; there are many misplaced and changed objects. Passing through a ceiling or doorway yields an entirely different environment altogether-clearly unli...

Re: Personal Proof

Very interesting kirolak. I had a similar encounter that proved, to myself, that the 'phase' is much more than simple electro-chemical brain impulses. I actually agree with both of you. I suspect that ourselves, and the physical and nonphysical worlds, are interconnected parts of some kind of informa...

Re: Hello

Hello Rudolph, What I mean is that I sometimes I "create" and then move around "vibrations", or tactile sensations in my limbs, trunk and head.I then try to extend these sensations into the space beyond my body- a sort of meditation I suppose. I am talking about the Robert Bruce t...

Re: Hello

Honestly, I take a less refined approach in spite of all of the great material out there I've read.(especially your book) The only consistent thing that I "do" is consciously intend to be aware every night before sleep, and upon every awakening-then I just let things happen. I draw from a w...

Hello

Hello, I thought I would introduce myself.I have been a LDer/OBEer for a number of years now and experience an average of 3-4 'phase' experiences/week. ( Sometime per night ) I really enjoyed the guidebook and found it very well thought out and useful.I look forward to dropping in here to read and d...
