First of all if you haven't read "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown or plan to read it don't continue reading!

The book really made me think. It has allways been hard for me to believe in a God.
Because it's to abstract really. And I am Christian (my name too hehe), but it's hard to believe that Jesus walked on water and that Moses used magical powers to cross the sea.
And I really love science, I watched "Into the Universe" with Stephen Hawking and he explained how to the universe was created and how it will end, he answered the alien queistion and explained what time is and wheter time travel is possible. And then I read the book by Dan Brown which brought science and religion together and that reallt made me relieved and gave me hope. A scientist in the book named Katherine Solomon was researching how the intention of the mind made everything possible. In short, everything that has mass, has gravity and everything that has gravity has attraction. Katherine Solomon was studying Noetic Science and discovered that a thought has a mass! And therefore a thought has gravity and attract what you think (see also the movie "The Secret". She also discovered that a person weigh less at the exact moment they die and that is sort of a proof that (The Phase) astral travel, lucid dreaming and so on is real. But anyhow the lost symbol was the bible and that the book is in fact pure science, but encoded. In fact many alchmeists and scientist have been studying the bible.
Isaac Newton, for example, tried to encode the book for years. And that is also one of the reason to why the bible have survived for all of these years, because people have been trying to decode it. Something the masons had been protected was that if you change some words in the bible you will understand it more clearly. Temple which is mentioned many time throughout the book, actually is reffering to the human body. Jacob's ladder means the human spine and God is the human mind! Bible Quote: "Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?"
When I had finished the book I was really motivated to go to the phase.
I am currently reading the bible x)
Anyway the most interesting part of the book is that if we only realise that we allready are gods instead of looking for him, we will know that nothing is impossible.
Then magic wouldn't be supernatural only pure science!
And all you need is belief.

So what is your thought on this? You who read it xD
I allready mention all this in another thread, but I started a new here because this is were general stuff should be discussed.

One more thing. The Bible was encoded in order to protect the world from evil, It's a good thing fo the good but a dangerous piece of information to the unworthy.

I did not read the bible,but i am Chritian too,and in scool i studied religion,i had one class per week so i remember some quotes that the teacher told us from the bible!
One of them he explained to us that if we had belief just a tiny piece that ''GOD'' has we can move muountains from their place!So from here come simple words or saiyngs that i realize now are so true,like(Nothing is impossible) or (if you can dream,dream big) and many others(be carefull what you wish for cause it might be happening)
Other quotes that he told us from the bible were:
God is in you,and in everything that surrounds you!!!
God is love,God is love for all the beautyfull things!!!
He said to us about some monks who lived only by prayings,like one monk if i remember good Daniel sihastru is called in romanian,could live in a cave fo 40 days and never eated in that time or dink water!!He could be in our days or in our explanation in the phase all this time,if the sensations are real,the perceptions are real,he could eat there and drink water,in the phase.so those who live in prayers could be true masters of the phase!!
If you brought this subject,is good cause people could finally realize that every person is his God and he creates his reality! I saw ''the secret'',and i also saw'' Conversations with God'' which says about the same things as the secret,only it is a movie which i reccommend everyone it is a good and emotional movie and makes you think about your life especially!!

And also to all the 2012 believers out there xD
The word apocalypse or apokÃ¡lypsis from the greek doesn't mean apocalypse like the end of the world, it actually means unveil or reveal which is mention in the book of reveal-ation.
Peter Solomon from the book quote "The apocalypse is not the end of the world, but rather it is the end of the world as we know it." The book of revealation predicts an unveiling of great truth and unimagineable wisdom. And here our Messiah is suppose to come.
If Messiah is God's son, can't that be a metaphor to a man who have truly realised that he is a god ? Maybe that is what will happend in 2012. I hope so anyway =)

Yeah i agree with that 2012 theory, the mayans have been misquoted so to speak. They actually state that 2012 will be the beginning of a new level of consciousness, lets hope it brings peace, love and harmony to all. Im sure something will happen, but who knows what?
I've tried a couple of times to obtain information about 2012 but with no definite results. The best answer i had was from one wise woman in a lucid dream, she just said 'you don't want to know', and maybe i don't, maybe its better not to.

Whoever or whatever energy left us here on earth in flesh and blood,would not let us to multiply from the begginning of human race untill 2012 and then whipe us all from the face of the earth,that does not have sense!
So it is more plausible the situation that we will all become wiser,and we will all discover the love for the peace,harmony and well being!!
Maybe the human race will not think with 10% of their brain anymore,but with 90%!
I don't know what it would be but it will surely be a good thing for us people,cause we did not evolved more than 2 thousand years since jesus left,just for nothing:P
In the end we are all sons of God,products of his creation,He is in all of us,it is just that we are not aware of Him,the phase could help us here too!!

Wow when I read that I realised that we are using 90 % of our brains, but not when we are awake...
When we are asleep, our brain is more active than during they day, what if you have a lucid dream and are aware in that process, wouldn't that means that we are wiser when we lucid dream?

hi i think man never become a god.if i go far i will say like god.but also man can become satan himself.the man contains the devine nature in him that can be nourished till become great or kill it.i saw and knew perhaps more than a lot of prophetes but still my humanity tired me.the answers themselves are big questions to me. many times i liked my humanty and i m learning to do so because God deserves to see the best from me and not my visible and unvisible sins.so let us try to become good humans first.God appreciate love in this world more than in heaven......

God is not someone i think,god is something!!
In the bible said that god is light,is something that always existed,and always will exist,something that is since forever,it has no beggining,and it has no end!!
That seems like energy,no one can see it but it surely exist,ans few can feel it,also energy exists since forever,before mankind,and will always exist,on earth and in the universe,it has no end...soo it seems to me like a little coincidence,between god and energy!
It also says in bible that god is in everything that sorounds us,even in us,also energy exists in everything that sorounds us,even in us...so...god is more like good things gathered together ,we all have to be good ,kind and loving beings,even tho hate can push us thru hard tests..!!

You know...I'm not religious and I don't believe in God as a know-all spiritual entity that punishes people...

But I do like the concept of Brahman in Hinduism. If Brahman is an infinite ocean, then we are its drops (the Atman).

It's the "ground of all being". Have a look:

Perhaps the most important thing I've read is the Gnostic text "The sayings of Jesus".

This was a fundamental read of early Christians and it speaks of this material plane as an illusion that we should rise above. And yes, it also talks about all of us being divine and looking within ourselves for the answers. Combine that with the quantum physics principle that our conciousness drives reality!... That's why Oobe is important to me.

Somehow I knew that phasers were one day or another be influenced by the jinns they meet, and gradually come to the indirect satanic thinking of self-realization.

You should be slower to judge. Pray on Psalm 82:6 and John 10:34. And honestly, the worst thing anyone can do is sit around following the dictates of this world. Any means of ascension is better than believing this world is almighty.
That book "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown sounds interesting. Especially after reading "The Secrets of the De Vinci code", which of course discussed Dan Browns book "The De Vinci code". It also discussed Gnostic Christianity.
