Lucid Dreaming and OBE Discussion Board

I have a question related to "visibility" when OBE-ing: how can you protect yourself from being seen if it is possible for OBE-ers to visit you? We can set our online privacy settings in such a way that only "invitees" can see us (Facebook, Skype, etc) but how do you do this in the non-physical world? Very curious to know how that works. Also, and the question has been asked before but not answered, if one were to wish to cure one's self of some physical ailment, how do you go about it? It is hinted at in the book that it is possible, but I can see no instructions as to the technique(s) used.

None of those things are possible and the book makes it quite clear that remote-healing via the phase state has never been evidenced in practice. The world you encounter in the phase state is entirely your own, entirely your own creation - sourced largely from the subconscious mind (which is one of the things the phase has in common with dreaming).

It can be argued that the phase state is a different type of dreaming, just unusually laced with waking consciousness (the extra ingredient that gives it a different flavour). Dreams are entirely in your head, private. (Nobody will know your dreams unless you tell them - the phase experience is no different in that respect.)
