What about The Mind test in astral?

In the esoteric literature people say that in astral you have to go to a mind test,is this real or not?

its just that in esoteric literature ,people usually say it,it means that you have to face your own demons if you ask for it to your Being and all of that ,thats it,i havent encounter it neither ,because i havent tried that,but i have done other things which i have enjoyed like flying to the sky ,way to vivid ,but i think i asked it long time ago,but thanks ,and i do not know if that is true,thats from an esoteric point of view.
