Question about Phantom Wiggling

To train the technique of phantom wiggling, relax a hand
for several minutes while lying down, eyes closed. Then,
aggressively envision the following hand movements, without
moving any muscles, for two to three minutes each: rotating, updown,
left-right, extending the fingers and drawing the fingers
together, clenching and unclenching a fist. No sensations will
occur at first. Gradually, the sensation of muscular action will
become so apparent that the perceived movement will be
indistinguishable from real movement. During the first training
attempts, practitioners are often tempted to open their eyes to see
if actual movement is occurring – that’s how real the sensation
feels.
1) Must this be practised during the day? I have been trying and no muscular feeling ensues. Shouldn't I feel like I am moving my arm for real? Were did I fail?
2) What's the best time to practice, and how many times?

I'll be aking ever so many questions!  :-[ Please be patient! I am a newbie  ;)

1 - trains - only during the day. Yes, it must be as real moving. Just try to do it again.
2 - during the day per 20-30 minuts (just practice. Try enter the phase in the morning)

Are you kidding me?
Nothing happens during the day yet
Of course!
IT IS TRAINIG
I am still struggling with awakaning without opening my eyes and moving. You say with practice you can get to do it. Some other tip I should follow?
You should try even after a phisical movement upon awakening.

I wrote it all in the guidebook...

Read it through carefully!!!
