Is Age A Factor?

Michael, I am very happy to have found your methods and am preparing to use the indirect techniques. Thank you very much! Now for my question...
I am a 67 year old guy who has been into LDs since 1980 and have concluded from my own experience and reading messages on LD websites that the ability to have LDs decreases as one gets older -- presumably due to lower levels of neurotransmitters in the sleeping brain.
Is this a serious obstacle to entering the phase using the indirect methods? If so, is it advisable to take supplements before going to bed to increase neurotransmitter levels? What is your experience working with older people in your seminars?
