Ending the cycle of techniques

I was just reading about the guy at one of Mr Raduga's classes who attempted to separate, did the cycle of techniques correctly, but failed to notice his body was in a different position (thus he was in the phase but didn't know it). So, this makes me wonder if it would be a good idea after doing the cycles (and before you return to sleep) to do a normal reality check - such as the nose pinch, just so you don't accidentally fail to realise you're in the phase?

Yes, you can do it and it's another good idea from you.
It'll give you 5-10% more phases. We never put it in cycles because they're too hard for novices even in current state

I find that I go in and out the phase very quickly before I find a moment where I am sure enough to really enter the phase (I say enter because I rarely actually "separate, but translocate instead).

For me it's hard to know when I enter, but easy to tell when I have exited to my body.

I'll sort of flash in and out very quickly, then be in and know it enough to move around in what was my imagined body.
