I've astral projected once or twice when (woke up) i saw my transparent arm come out of my physical. But today i was taking a nap and from my dream my body vibrated and i was floating above my bed. I was trying to talking and move but i couldnt. Like i was floating in the air and i couldnt move at all and when i was trying to speak my words couldnt come out right? 10 seconds later i just woke up, but there was no jolt or anything.. .what was this?

We call it the phase (AP = LD = OBE)

Have a look around here. We have some pretty useful information. As far as pragmatic phasers can tell...you either dream or you lucid dream. As you know, the latter comes in two types: dream-initiated (DILDs) and wake-initiated (WILDs).
Lucid dreams give us the impression that we are consciously self-aware in a location other than our physical bodies. In a way, you can call them "out-of-body experiences". They can also realistically produce the sensation of separation from one's body. There is no evidence that this happens though, and, in all fairness, by observing the nature of the phase space (which is not an actual space but, as incredible as it sounds, a thought in itself which emulates real space), we can almost conclude that the minute your awareness shifts to that state, everything is illusory.
The "astral projection" term is belief-centric as it carries mystical and spiritual connotations. Nothing wrong with believing in such things but the term itself can be misleading as it has nothing to do with celestial bodies and, if we are going to make this a widely known phenomenon, it is not appropriate to use it when introducing it to someone. We want to make it known to everyone (of every background, culture and belief) - both religious and materialist - and already "astral projection" alienates the latter.
