Lucid Dreaming and OBE Discussion Board

I'm wondering if anyone else has ever commandeered vehicles in the phase? Any experiences with this?


A while ago I became curious about vehicles in Lucid Dreams and OBEs.How do they behave? Do they seem to have an engine?

Since,I have taken cars from driveways in my phase neighborhood and also rode a random motorcycle once.They looked,felt and behaved as real as waking life,except I made them fly a couple of times too... 

I did it a lot of times. Especially when I was 20 yo and younger.

Did anything unusual or unexpected happen?

In most cases it was as if in reality. That was the reason to do this.

For those who didn't try it still, I suggest to ride in the phase not only cars and bikes, but planes, spacecrafts, and so on

I once rode my motorcycle in the phase....but I was very dissapointed!
In real life my bike ha 130 HP  and it's fast like hell..LOL
But in the phase did not seem to feel that power....It was slow like a bicycle LOL...Tho when i woke up I realized I could be lacking of energy
when I rode the bike...
I remember I took a race with some dudes with their bicycles...and I had to try translocation method to the finish so I can win...LOL
I won tho...but by inches to the finish line!
I remember what I was thinking when the bike was slow...I could see those byciclists gave me distance...an I tried..."booooossst now''...didn't work...'turbo now''...didn't work...''fast as the speed of light''...nothing hapened...   And then I put my nerv on...created a strong wish to translocate behind the finish line...haha!!
I was standing and laughing when those dudes appeared...but felt pretty lame that I had to cheat for winning!!

I've had a couple of phase experiences where i've driven a car.  Once where i became lucid in a dream while i was already driving, i then decided to make the car fly, which was good fun.

Another one where i was attacked by two aliens who were in a car, i then stole their car, and drove it around like a crazy man smashing into things.  I think driving in the phase requires less effort than in real life 

I definitely like the idea of trying to fly a spacecraft or something similar

That's also very funny about the aliens and wrecking into stuff. I've had similar experiences at different times,but never with aliens though...

When I drove my car in a normal dream, my break pedal never worked. So I couldn't stop the car before a cross section, and that is how I became lucid, at least twice

I remember an early phase which had been entered via dream-consciousness...

I was driving a strange and futuristic-looking convertible in a dream and then I realised...I don't drive...this car is surreal...the landscape is too pleasing to the eye...BANG!...I was in the phase...

As soon as I was lucid I stamped on the brake to halt the vehicle and it did.  Then I took to flying but the experience was short-lived.

In a more recent phase, I was riding my bed as if it was a vehicle through streets under a beautiful night sky.  It was also dream-initiated and I know where such idea came from.  As a child, I read a beautiful story about a kid who would have adventures at night and his bed was his vehicle.  I guess the boy was entering the phase...

It wasn't Adventures in Slumberland though.

That's just how it is in the phase, you can anything you want, no rules,
apparently. 

I've tried riding motorcycles, but the speed makes it difficult for me to focus and I end up falling into sleep.

Why use a vehicle when I can fly or transport anywhere?
