This topic refers to a spam crysis the forums suffered in mid-Jan 2012

I can't take this spam anymore!!! My topic (entering the phase a 17year olds journey) has inappropriate spam replies at the end of it!!! EDIT: thankfully removed last posts

Not only that but the continual posting of spam is driving me crazy. Please if anyone has the ability to make me a moderator do it so I can remove these nightmares

Thankfully those terrible porn posts were removed from the end of my Topic... Still I feel these attacks will never end

I agree.  It is getting too hard to find legitimate posts amongst all the rubbish.  The forum needs a moderater that is on the site more often than Mr Raduga.

I am sure an upgrade of the forum software would fix the problem.

Yeah, that's good. I saw Michael was on earlier. I bet he is on the phone with his host service trying to figure out how to deal with this. The hacker had to get himself high level permission in order to edit individual blogs.

If anyone clicked on any of those links they might want to clear cookies and run the virus checker.

Hey everyone, I got a pm from bk and thought it's best to post here that there is a report to moderator button on each post at the bottom right corner. I guess that's our way of controlling the spam round here since it worked on my topic (spam at end) within a few hours.

Btw i wanna share with you all a mini heart attack followed by super happiness. It was probably the biggest moodswing of my life...

I was checking the blogs section to see if the spam was gone... Oh wow yay I though... No more spam:) ok now... Where's my blog... (heart stops) omg where is it gone... I said remove the last few spammy posts not my whole blog nooooo! Scrolled back up to top of page extremely disappointed... Boom omg what's that... A new pinned topic... Omg it's mine yayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

Lol just thought I would share my "pinned topic experience" which was a nice way to wake up after a bad dream recall night... now I Know I can't give up (I was gonna finish in February 2012 for a year or 2 due to Tafe before continuing) and I will now keep doing this until either I die or experience a permanent day 57(stuck in the phase)...

Hopefully one day I will be in a test lab doing heaps of phase tests... One day the phase will be as easy to enter as a virtual world on a computer. I guess all we gotta worry about now are phase hackers since if their is a telepathic connection there are gunna be those who exploit it...

Anyway good luck with spam everyone and hopefully we have finally rid the forums of it.

I'm sure Michael will find a solution to the spam pretty soon.  When I was a moderator on Astral Viewers, me and Ssergiu had a hard time dealing with spam until Admin gave us the power to delete accounts while they worked on getting an anti-spam program.
