Today, with your mask, I achieved lucid dreams 100% of the time that I used it for this past month. That is, once I figured out what was going to work for me. I don’t have just one lucid dream per session but two or three. I could do even more, but I usually record my experience in writing, so I stop intentionally even though I could continue.
Here’s what I do:
On a night I don’t have work the next day, I set the tender alarm for 3:15 am. When it wakes me up, I get out of bed for a few minutes. Sometimes I will read through the Phase, or on other forums that interest me.
Then I turn on Direct Method.

Then I decide what my dream goal will be as I lay down to rest. I cycle techniques, rehearsing them. If I get lucid dreaming sensations, I intensify those sensations to enter lucid dreams.
If I do not get lucid dreaming sensations, I simply relax. Every few minutes I try again. If I fall asleep, the mask wakes me, and I cycle techniques on its cue. I repeat this, never trying too hard. I don’t put in serious mental effort until I have felt significant lucid dreaming sensations. The mask will just keep waking me up until I hit the sweet spot.
As soon as I get significant lucid dreaming sensations, I amplify whatever technique gave me the most sensation, and I find myself in a dream.
When the dream ends, I take advantage of the moment of waking, instantly repeating the technique that just worked. I go right back into lucid dreaming. I can keep doing this for who knows how long? I haven’t tested its upper limit. It is very easy to get into the Phase 2-3 times in this manner. Usually, I am satisfied, so I haven’t tested how many times I can re-enter.
I do not worry about how to get into lucid dreaming anymore; now I am working on practices within lucid dreams. This device, when used this way, works every single time for me. I have much to experiment with!
