Michael Raduga has spent more than two decades investigating conscious experiences during REM sleep. An author of 15 books translated into more than 10 languages, he built an independent research program that has contributed studies to peer-reviewed journals in sleep science and psychology.
That research-first approach now informs REMspace Technologies Inc.: bringing together experimental methods, connected sensing hardware, and AI software to translate discoveries into practical sleep technologies.

REMspace grew from Michael Raduga’s long-standing interest in the boundaries of sleep and conscious experience. His early educational work evolved into organized experiments and a sustained research program focused on understanding what people can perceive and do during REM sleep.
Beginning with dedicated research initiatives and extending into laboratory investigations, the team developed methods to study REM sleep as an interactive state. Published experiments explored the detection of conscious experiences during sleep, physiological signals, and communication between sleeping participants and external systems.
These investigations created a practical engineering challenge: research required purpose-built sensors, reliable signal processing, and tools that could operate during natural sleep. REMspace began translating that technical experience into connected devices and software, bringing experimentation closer to everyday use.
The next stage is SomnoAI, a planned AI-driven research platform intended to accelerate experiment design, interpret physiological data and help researchers move more quickly from an initial hypothesis to a testable technology. It builds on years of scientific experimentation rather than beginning as a purely software-led concept.
Today, Based in Redwood City, California, REMspace Technologies Inc. is building around a unified direction: combine scientific expertise, automated research and proprietary sleep wearables to create scalable technology with practical applications.
