LawPaw wrote: Michael, have you ever researched memory recall in the phase?

What I mean is essentially trying recreate or watch past events.

Not that you could possibly recreate memories perfectly since our memories aren't perfect.

I've tried this twice, but couldn't get it to work at all.  I could translocate to a specific location, but couldn't create the memory.
Not everything is so easy in the phase. Sometimes you have to work on problems like this. Just try it over and over again. It seems, you can try it 2-6 times even per one phase.

There is some mistakes. Try to find them. Some practitioners cannot use even translocation techniques after monthes of practice. Not everything is so easy in the phase.
siling wrote: Would you comment on Mr. Buhlman's OBE practice or his books/workshop ? I do want to know how you think of him in the field of OBE.
Do you wanna try direct techniques... Any other questions?

He has 2-3 phases per week (as he declare). I know hundreds people who can do it 2-3 times per day, but they have no books and workshops.

Robert Monroe was a greate guy but he has left no real methods because he had strong predisposition. I don't know even one experienced practitioner who used methods from Monroe Institute, books, workshops.
Is this a good plan?
Don't do it every night.
Big mistakes: 30 seconds - 1 minute for one attempt. Your first action must be an attempt to separate from the body

Be as simple as possible. It is the key to success

I think I am a little confused. I typed this reply into babblefish;

"Not more than 3-4 days per week:
(but all the night and morning in each day)
alarm -> forced falling asleep as fast as possible for 5-15 sec. -> techniques -> go sleep if no result in 1-2 minute :"

Here is the Ruski version of that;

" Не больше чем 3-4 дней в неделю: (только полностью ноча и утро в каждом дне) сигнал тревоги - > принудили падать уснувший как можно быстрее на sec 5-15. - > методы - > идет сон если отсутствие результата в минуте 1-2:, то"

Did you mean to say?:

" Попытайте участок не больше чем 3-4 дней в неделю: (только каждая ноча и каждое утро на выбранные дни) сигнал тревоги - > принудили падать уснувший как можно быстрее на sec 5-15. - > цикл через методы - > идет сон если отсутствие результата в минуте 1-2:, то"

in English;

"Attempt phase No more than 3-4 days per week:
(but each night and each morning on the chosen days)
alarm -> forced falling asleep as fast as possible for 5-15 sec. -> cycle through techniques -> go sleep if no result in 1-2 minute :"

I used this site to do the free translation;

hi michael I hope you're well. lately all my phase experiencs have been very crowded. i know its silly but i feel rude to just ignore everyone and go about my tasks. any tips on this?

also when i get into stable phases, it can be harder to change things. can it sometimes be helpful to purposefully destabilise in order to change things and then restabilise? for instance sometimes i will get a stable phase, then in order to change things i will close my eyes and allow it to fade slightly which can sometimes help me to have more control. is there a better way of doing this though? cheers, sweet dreams

Hello, how often do/can you enter the phase and do you ever choose not to enter it out of being tired of it?
And also do you have an online journal anywhere where you record your experiences?

I have 3-7 experiences per day when I intend to enter the phase.
1-2 when I am not intend  (by habit).

There is no sense to write it all in a journal. I even refused to use my diary 7 eyars ago. I use it only in special cases

Thank you for your answer it is inspiring. One more question, at this point since you have mastered your techniques do you only have to use Forced Falling Asleep and Phantom Wiggling, or do you still have to use other techniques because those don't work all the time?

As Mr. Raduga is a master in this things,i think he uses the ultimate method,and that would be just thinking at the feeling in the phase and he is there;)
He said it in his video seminar,the ultimate method is just thinking to the feelings in the phase and you are there!!
Now as he has so many phases even in one day and all theese years of experience i think is not to hard for him to remember the feelings in the phase,as h says also in the reply above
he enters just by habbit when not intended,that means the phase is a part of his life now,like we need to eat,sometimes even when we are not hungry,but we get the hunger feeling and we think about food:D
That is my opinion,once one is a master of the phase it could not be easyer to enter it,jut to think about it and you are there:P

Almost all techniques work upon awakenings because of the forced falling asleep. I use what I want to use in the moments. In most cases it is rotation, swimming technique, hands visualizing, phantom wiggling. But in 25% of all cases I still have to cycle them.
Great question i also wanted to know,the mans a professional im sure he uses his own advice but with little or no effort
There's a lot of other authors but there's is only one whose advices you can use in the real practice: Stephen LaBerge. Maybe, 5% of my knowledge is based on his work. Other 5% from all other authors. 30% from experiments with thousands of people at my seminars. 50% from my own experiments. 10% from very-very experienced practitioners whose I've tought by myself.
As Mr. Raduga is a master in this things,i think he uses the ultimate method,and that would be just thinking at the feeling in the phase and he is there;)
In most cases you cannot use just the understanding. You need some actions. Is very important. So I use it every time when I separate from the body immediately upon awakenings or with a mix of techniques, if I cannot separate from the body. It is like background.

However yesterday I met in LA with a very experienced practitioner from Russia. He has started to use only this ultimate method upon awakenings (+ previous intention). Moreover, he has found it by himself. I know 5-7 other practitioners like he. But if I would use only the method, I could lose up to 50% of phases. And they lose it. Sometimes you have to use something more.

It's like kind of mix them up,for the fact that the subconscious could get used with only one technique and not give good results?
Like i became lucid in dreams,but i had to take a brake cause for a few weeks i did not have any LD,so i listened your advice Mr Raduga and then saw some results again,but when i did not had the phase(LD) i was like just blacking out into sleep,i even didn't dream nothing,atleast i didn't remembered!
Now i am still taking Brake,but my dreams came back and i can remember bits of them again!
So when i start using indirect techniques  again
i will mix them up,and every different night change one or two of the techniques from a cylce:)
I lke it here,cause is always something more to learn:D

You're right. But I doubt that it is subconsciousness. Maybe, it is phisiology

Yeah i do that.most of dreams and most of LD's are taking place near my home,or in my home,like 80% of them!
Could be tho the tiredness,lately i get home late and i am so tired,i just sleep...before that
i would randomly wake at 4, 4:30  in the morning,without any alarms..go in the kitchen,ate something,go to the bathroom and then back to bed!And after i got back to bed after a short period of sleep,i started become lucid,and it worked almost everytime i woke up in the morning and then got back to bed!

We are looking forward to read them !
Even some of us are having difficulties mastering the phase,it is good to read and learn,so that when one's got a phase to know how to act!

I never say anybody to come on my seminars or buy videos/books because you can find all information for free on my sites and free ebooks: http://books.obe4u.com/ . But if you want to get more detailed or diverse information, you can take it.

1. Where can i buy your 3 Day seminar video? - http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/OBE
2. Is there a sample or trailer out, so we can have a first look? - http://school.obe4u.com/
3. How do we pay? Paypal perhaps? - Yes
4. Is there a digital download after paying? - No
5. Do the videos have subtitles? - Yes

Hi Michael,
Crazy question, I had a semi-lucid dream in which you participated the other night, we were chatting about various things including, most bizarrely, your arms (!?) I don't suppose i twas "you" but my projection of what I thought you were?

I am having a hard time overcoming my tendency to see all this as "phase" & not "projection" but your methods definitely work for me.

If you read a book, it is normal to see the author in dreams or phases. It is your subconsciousness

It looks like OBE. Especially if your memories are still alive after 22 y. Anyway, there is only ine way to understand this - to try to do it again and then compare these experiences. Use the second chapter of SOBT to induce the phase.

'm glad it helps.

Maybe, I will never work on any other books or translate old books. I'm going to make the guidebook better and better. I have more than 10 books, but I really like only this one. The next update (revision 2) will be next year (upto 100+ updates).

Thank you for the quick reply. I have one more question that i asked in another part of the forum but should probably have posted here. I my phaise experiences lately, i am having difficulty with memory. I can enter the phaise and not quite remember what my plan of action was. I go to bed with a very clear intention to do indirect techniques and separate and deepen when possible, followed by finding a friend to interact with. The problem is, i just can't seem to put things in order when i have separated. Is this just a matter of mor deepening? Also, sometimes when i use forced falling asleep, i enter a mental state where it is hard for me to focus. I wouldn't say i feel sleepy, just sluggish, like my thoughts are heavy. Any advice? This doesn't happen all the time, but enough to where i wonder what i am doing wrong in this situation.

You should understand from the very beginning that the phase state isn't a solid state. It may differ from time to time. Sometimes this situation can happen because mistakes but sometimes you cannot do anything to make it better. It is normal. Especially in the night. In the day or mornings phases must be much more clear.

There's no problem to meet any person in the phase. You can plan to do it with your friend and you will find each other there. But when you will discuss what you've seen there, everything may be both different or the same. It depends on how correctly you can use obtaining information techniques.

By other words, it's possible because your subconcious can create your friend in the phase while subconscious of your friend can create you. For you both it looks like you're in the same place in the same time.

It's only my pragmatic point of view that helps to explain all test I've done and all facts I know about this topic.
