Is it possible to have any sort of out of body experience WITHOUT going through Sleep paralysis? Some people may feel like they do not go through it, but they are already in SP when they're in the phase.
For those who have heard about phasing, how does it work? For me it just seems like imagination. You imagine the OOBE instead of experience it.
Also, some people say that they just lay down and feel vibrations without any SP and they can wake up whenever they want. I don't think you can experience vibrations without SP. You may feel weird sensation which you want to be vibrations, but they are not what SP's vibrations are like.
I have not done the methods presented here because I do not have the time and the opportunities to do it, but since they are done after waking up, I know that you get in SP immediately if you do not move. Even in Michael's method you do go or should go through SP.

I have gotten conscious exit oobe many times and I do not recall ever going through SP.
I rarely feel vibrations much anymore either.

This is a bit tricky. Sometimes I do not notice I am in SP too. Also, being in SP does not mean feeling like in SP.

Re: OOBE without any type of SP.
Of course you're in SP when in the phase, or else would physically be moving around.
If you've been in the phase and it feels like imagination you have not deepened nearly sufficiently.
I've had "weak" phase experiences, but they all feel at least better than imagination.
If you exit into a dream (fall asleep), I've found that when you wake up the whole experience seems dream like and you may even forget somethings.
If you exit back into your body the experience will seem exactly like real life if you deepen sufficiently.
A couple of my phase experiences actually seem more real than real life and I actually can remember things in greater detail then real life.
Of course all of this is "in our imagination" in that it is in our head, but all sensation and memory is technically "in our head" and so the phase can actually be more real than real life.
I think it may have something to do with the fact that the brain doesn't have to waste time actually interpreting sensory input. Since it is all "in the head" and not related to actual nerve responses, the brain is able to focus more attention where you direct it and make the whole thing more real than real life.
That's my theory.

Re: OOBE without any type of SP.
I know what you mean by that. I was only saying that the phasing method seems like imagination, nothing more, when the SP method or whatever are real.

By perception OBEs are without SP in most cases.
But in reality you cannot avoid SP, because it happens in REM-sleep

This is what I think too! Some people, however, say they lay down, wait some time and then they say they're in the phase and then say they can get out of the OOBE like there's no SP.Michael Raduga wrote: By perception OBEs are without SP in most cases.
