Non lucid dreams about the phase and phase attempts.

Post by Luna »

I have a vague memory of a dream lastnight. I was deepening by falling head first but I wasn't getting any results. I was just doing summersaults in mid air ang getting very frustrated. It all felt soo real.

Have any of you had non lucid dreams about the phase or phase attempts?

I've also had a dream where I was trying to exit my body and I was yelling at myself and making all sorts or straining noises!! Weird.

Yes. And they are frustrating.
In a dream you can't separate because you are already out of your body.

Because of this, performing reality checks after every failed attempt is recommended.

Remember, those techniques are for deepening. Deepening and getting conscious are quite different things.
The dream felt real because of the technique, but your consciousness was so low that you probably fell asleep into a normal dream about the phase.

Yes, i wasn't doing any of it consciously and it definatly was because of the technique and no other reason cause that is the only thing I can remember from that dream.

It was weird to be in a dream about attempting to get oob and doing deepening techniques.especially because attempting to fall forward is not on my list of one of the things I'm gonna attempt to deepen when I get out.
Maybe it's my conscious letting me know it's not as scary as I think it might be cause I wasn't scared at all. It actually felt really cool!!

Our consciousness isn't so stable, as many think. It's a scale of states. Sometimes you totally cannot understand whether you had it or not. In most cases, deepening techniques help to make it better.

It's funny...

Yesterday I made a reply to your question about having a non-lucid dream about the phase...
Today I had a spontaneous dream about it!!!, which then lead to a full phase experience.
Also this is the fist time I use the "alien abduction" method. ;D

I will share it in my blog in a few minutes.

I disagree, for me there is almost no difference. If I dream that I am lying in my bed (and don't know that this is a dream), I separate and get up just the same way. The only difference is that the separation always works :).

Technically you are not separating from your physical body. You are just standing up without using your muscles.
But it's almost the same, so I agree with you.  ;D

Luna, my last experience is now available on my blog.

When you are beginning to separate you are already in the phase. Doesn't matter if this is already a dream or not, it is exactly the same phase, and you are already dreaming. The ingenious separation technique is only to help you to deepen your dream and change your perspective.
