Abductions, kundalini & phase

Post by kirolak »

HiMichael,

I wonder if you'd be so kind as to comment on the Kundalini phenomenon, as it relates to the phase & also to abductions?  I agree that most of the "exit" phenomena are the same in abductions & phase, but what of people who were abducted, say, in the day time, when they were outside, & busy with some activity? I have just re-read John Mack's book & it seems there are some situations which cannot fall under the general "phase" category, & which leave physical traces on the body & also on the ground (scorched earth).

Thanks!

I didn't talk about all cases. Only about those related to the phase.

Sorry, I don't think I'm specialist in any other issues so my opinion worth nothing in any other areas. I even do not know what is Kundalini

Kundilini isn't necessarily a property of the Phase. Kundilini can be experienced in the waking state and it is very much a subjective experience. These Chakra systems are not a proven fact. They remain theoretical and it is only a way of looking at things which was devised millennia ago.

Kundilini could be feedback from many things like the body producing adrenaline coupled with the imagination in states where you are half awake and half asleep, the firing of neurons and tactile illusions produced by unusual functions of the thalamus, the pons attempting to induce muscle atonia etc. etc. - there are more mundane explanations for it that take the take the mystical halo out.

There is no proof that such energy exists. Isn't it funny that they say it is coiled along the spine...erm...DING DONG...the spine contains neurons and is part of the Central nervous system!! ::)

A lot of people seem to accept the mysticism without question while overlooking the amazing potential of the biological supercomputer that they hold inside their skulls.

THE PHASE = waking consciousness during sleep hybridisation at 40Hz of brainwave activity conducive to lucid dreaming and autoscopy.

Some people appear to hold their brains outside their skull. :)

Michael, I really appreciate your honest, very modest approach! Thanks for the reply!

Summerlander, I suspect ALL experiences are subjective, not just the Kundalini  . . as to the so-called Chakras, I have particularly experienced two of them very strongly ("whatever" they may be).
I find it very hard to take a stand on subjective vs objective, & do not accept there is ever a "pure" state of objectivity. We are blinded by our senses in many instances; we cannot see atoms yet we accept that they exist because of experiments that "prove" their existence. "I don't know" is surely the most honest & objective statement one can ever make.

Uncertainty is the only thing you can be certain of 100%. I personally think we hold everything we need internally. And yet again, "internally" doesn't really exist. I suspect that ultimately, we are a void, and, consciousness is the outcome of quantum fluctuations and interactions - if it all happens within the void, then we experience it.

Then again, I couldn't be 100% sure.
