Sceptical about this "phase" thing....

Post by DreamMaster »

I've been reading the yoga book and the practical guidebook and must admit that what Michael refers to as "the phase" looks much more like "lucid dreaming" or simply dreaming, than out of body experience/ astral projection. From my own experience there are clear and distinct differences between the two phenomena and Michaels writing seem more in tune with dreaming and lucid dreams than oobe/ap.

- First that comes to mind is the "fact" that too intense focus on something makes the experience more real and it is more difficult to do "impossible things" (like flying).
This is true for some LD and dreams, but NOT for genuine oobe/ap

- It is claimed that it is possible to have multiple orgasms while in the phase.
This is true for dreams, but not for oobe/ap. I have yet to encounter anyone who has consciously experienced an orgasm while oobe/ap.

- One of the topics here is "If You believe in real OBE and real "Astral Projection," and it pretty much sums up the believes of the author... If you have an oobe/ap you don't believe, you know from experience, which is much more "real" than any dream or lucid dream, hence you don't question the reality of oobe/ap after it has been experienced several times.

- "The phase theory" has missed the clear differences between dreams and non physical environments. True; both dreams/ld and oobe/ap are both non physical events - the same can be said about daydreaming and imagination... There are reasons why we call things different names because the experiences ARE different! Mixing them all together into one "package" and re-label it only causes more confusion than help for the newbie, which is quite apparent in this forum.

Lucid dreaming and oobe/Astral projection is NOT the same, even if you coin a new label and call it "the phase." IF you're going to follow that "logic" you also have to include daydreaming, thinking and ANY mental activity (they are all non-physical).

I enjoy Michaels fresh approach to these phenomena, but the "theory" behind the phase is something I do not support. It makes no sense and create more confusion in people who have no knowledge or experience with oobe/ap.

If you want to experience direct projections FAST and eazily, I suggest you go to saltcube.com and watch the free movies and download the Lucid dreaming timer.

I have nothing to do with that site/product other than that I have bought both systems myself and had great success with them - so has many of my friends.

Robert Bruce is a good second source, but his approach takes much longer time than saltcube.com
Many of my friends have had great experiences with his workbook (mastering astral projection in 90 days).

Lucidology 102 and saltcube.com are the best, quickest and eaziest training to experience direct projections that I have found online.

I find it wierd that someone who claims to have had thousands of oobes/ap still don't know if his experiences are real or not. This and several other things makes me very sceptical to the "phase theory" and the actual experiences of the author.

Have you tried Michael's method?

It might be wise to do that before you decide to poohoo Michael.
There are no humans here. You're it.  There is nothing seperate "out there".

For those who think it's not enough to know this topic even by teaching thousands people in REAL world, we have a popular thread to discuss this: http://obe4u.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=9

I can answer to any question there.

And do not forget I could kill somebody who would dare to tell LD and OBE are the same (9-10 years ago).

P.S. It's XXI century. Wake up
