4am problem

Post by TheOnerous »

I seem to have this problem I haven't overcome yet. I'd like to know if others have experienced the same problem and have overcome it, or have any thoughts on how I could overcome it.

I set my alarm for 4am, stay up five minutes (any longer and I probably won't get back to sleep again) and go back to bed saying either of these affirmations:

"I'll wake up after my next dream and (try separation/do cycle)"

"The next time I wake up I'll (try separation/do cycle)"

The trouble is, the next time I wake up is usually at 7am. That is wake up time, the kids are "go go go!" and there's no chance of going back to sleep.

Any ideas? Do I need to try an affirmation such as, "I'll wake up again several times before 7am" ?

Wake up later (5am e.g.)
Prolong awareness up to 50 minutes
Don't try everyday (2-3 days per week)
Wait for new SOBT

I can't wait for the new version.  I'm on page 126 on the current one that's available at the moment.  It's very informative.
THE PHASE = waking consciousness during sleep hybridisation at 40Hz of brainwave activity conducive to lucid dreaming and autoscopy.
