By way of background, I began my phase activities in April of this year, after stumbling across the SOBT guidebook. I then watched the introductory video and eventually read Ultimate Yoga.
I had good success in the beginning. In the first couple of weeks, I had several phase experiences, including one or two “hyper-realisticâ€

Re: Cleareye's blog
I think you've done a lot after this period of time. It means you're on the rigth way. Just keep trying it further and you'll overcome most of your problems. The new SOBT will help a lot too. It'll be ready soon

WOW! Great experimenting on your part!!
I can exit on cue but can't seem to deepen
Can't wait to hear more of your experiences in your blog!

Me also and like you I have the exiting part sorted.I discovered that the easiest way for me to enter the phase was right after I had exited a dream.

Re: Cleareye's blog
Really good summary, Cleareye (and kudos on the literary skill).
While there are some unique elements there I think several of us see many similarities in our growth and learning since reading the SOBT ebook.
There are so many different techniques and I want to learn and understand them all. The way you described turning back to your side and going back into your last dream sounds familiar. I had good success with going back on my side and doing the Forced Falling Asleep attempts and then rolling out. I haven't done that in a while -- I'll have to give it another try soon.
I think your idea of relaxing through the dry spells really is the right idea. I just got very focused and more involved in my waking life for a while and stopped trying so intensely every day. New waves of success come back out of the blue with just a few attempts per week. One day I hope to understand better how this works but for now I'll simply work with it as best I can.
