When making attempts to enter the phase by indirect techniques, the practitioner should have complete confidence that he will be immediately successful in everything.
Even a shroud of doubt may keep the practitioner in his body.

Right. Yeah I am really not happy here. I have tried to follow your instructions and lo and behold - nothing. I originally came here to get some clarification on attempts and practicing. I thought, why not? You seem so confident this stuff works for practically everyone.
So, now, after sixty pages of talking about how easy it all is, you say "If you doubt it will never happen". Well, in your book, and in real life, when things don't work after multiple attempts, one's expectations for success are diminished. That's just how it goes. You think "It didn't work this time, but maybe I made some progress" According to this, I have doomed myself by having realistic, yet optimistic, expectations. WTF?
I am kinda feeling like you have wasted my time.

If you cannot get it even in a few days - you do something very wrong. You better discribe what you did. Some attempts In detail. I bet I could find 3-6 mistakes in your every attempt.
But after this phrase just do not waste my time, please.I am kinda feeling like you have wasted my time.

Re: Primary thing in indirect techniques
Hey there,
I would like to get some clarification. Here is my first experience after reading through your material. I read your book, and took your advice to emediately try to get out of the body within the first five seconds of waking up, and then follow up with cycles of indirect techniques. I also new that I would have to take the moment when I first woke up, or I would have a higher chance of failing. I hyped myself up before I went to bed by practicing what I would do before i dozed off. When I awakened. I tried to move around with my body without using muscle. I found this very difficult, so I moved on to trying phantom wiggling. I found this to be a failing effort because my mind wasnt acustomed to the idea of moving limbs without muscle. After this I tried visualizing a picture, but i found that I was trying to hard to imagine a picture rather than just letting it flow. I had no problem calming the mind to view a blank screen of blackness before my closed eyes, but my imagination took over after a few seconds of trying, so i moved on to listening in. This was very effective. I imediately herd a ringing that got pretty loud, but i realized it just wasnt loud enough. I then switched back to phantom wiggling, and the ringing became louder and was acompanied by a full body tingling. I new this was the moment to act, but then i realized I was stuck. My mind wouldnt allow me to move anything without muscle. This was frustrating however This experinced followed allot of vizualizations of me moving about my room, and different scenarios which i had total recollection of at the time, but can no longer remmeber. Can you please tell me how to break past this? I would really apreciate it.

You are doing all the right things, it's just a matter of practise and confidence.
Keep doing it what you are doing, something will work for you very soon.

There are no humans here. You're it. There is nothing seperate "out there".
