Memory Curruption caused by entering the phase!

Post by 12padams »

During my last phase experience on day 79 I become conscious in a dream after noticing an obvious anomaly. After waking up however I found that my real life memory had been corrupted. Below I have included the events which occurred after waking up from my phase experience:

[quote]After writing down my phase experience on paper I wanted to check out my sisters light switch panel to see if it had the usual three buttons rather than the six that I saw in the phase. Upon arriving at her room I was absolutely shocked to see that her panel only had one button.

“How could this be?â€

Memory is inherently corrupt.  This has been shown time and time again.  In the legal world, we say that memory is "active".  Something we need to keep in mind when we visit places from the past while in the phase or arguing with a SO over what the two of you "really" said. ;)

I find that practicing the phase has significantly improved my long term memory.  I have visited the house I grew up in from the perspective of a child (about 4 feet tall), then thinking about it while awake helps me remember many things from childhood.  Hypnotherapy uses a similar technique to awaken memories.

Recently we've discovered that much of memory is really just neuro connections between brain cells that store specific information (a particular smell for instance).  The memory of an event is really just a route through neuro pathways.  Powerfully tracing these pathways with the help of the subconscious while in the phase can help us trace similar pathways (similar memories).

That's my theory anyway. ;)

Well I am glad that the phase doesn't pose too much of a threat then... I just find it amazing that memory is so unstable.

My memory is corrupt by things that distract me and confuse me in waking life! :D
THE PHASE = waking consciousness during sleep hybridisation at 40Hz of brainwave activity conducive to lucid dreaming and autoscopy.
