how can u be sure?

Post by cool_dude2 »

1>how can one be sure its the phase itself?i have tried practicing and so far have achieved only semi-conscious dreams(about 30% lucidity in dreams)..now is this the phase?or something different?also, the lucidity isnt enough to consciously apply deepening.
2>is it possible that we have entered the phase but we forget everything about it after waking up?what to do to prevent this?

1> For a true phase experience, you need to be 100% lucid about the state, deepening techniques must be applied and hyperral perceptions must be achieved.

2> Full pledged Phase expereinces tend to perdure in the memories better than real life experiences.
Sometimes, if you fall asleep during a phase experiences, your memories after awakening can be fuzzy, but you should still remember their occurrence.

Don't forget simulated phase experiences. You dream of being in the phase and do dream controls things you have read in the practical guidebook but you are not actually lucid and don't carry out your plan of action.

I experience those a lot which is why I have a table in the back of my book (I'll update the latest version version to include the table in a week) that lists all my real phase experiences (dates, level of lucidity and length) and a separate table for my simulated phase experiences.

Simulated phases were a common problem for me in the begging but once I truly experienced a real phase I have never given up!

Improving your dream memory can automatically boost your phase memory.  Also, how good is your waking life memory?  ;D

In the phase you should be/feel as awake as you are in wakefulness.  what a funny statement! LOL!  Your logical mind should be operational.  If the environment is blurry, this is recognised as an anomaly which will prompt you to refine it with your mind or by deepening.  If your bedroom has more windows than it should, again this is recognised as an anomaly when you are in the phase state.

If there is no lucidity, all anomalies will be seen as normal, logical, and self-delusion takes over.  If that's the case and you fail to recognise what is illusory, then you are not in the phase.
THE PHASE = waking consciousness during sleep hybridisation at 40Hz of brainwave activity conducive to lucid dreaming and autoscopy.
