A very vivid dream about phasing

Post by Anthony Pucci »

So yeah, it's me again. I seem to come and go as my resolve to enter the phase waxes and wanes. I've been reading SOBT-1 again and I'm noticing things I did wrong, so I figured I'd try again.

Just now (It's 3:19 AM right now), I had a remarkably vivid dream about phase entry. It was so vivid, I almost passed it off as a real phase; the only reason I didn't is because I don't think I was lucid. Still, the course of action I took is almost down to the letter of what I would've done.

It starts off with no vision and I know I'm lying in my bed. I start having phantom movements of my arm spinning around at the elbow. So I take the initiative and separate. I start feeling the things in my room to deepen, and vision slowly comes to me. I was in a strange version of my room that had more in common with a lab or a schoolhouse. There was a large chalkboard and counters strewn about.

This is the part that really faked me out: you know my old "first time" post where I was weakly calling out to "Mia?" Well, I did it again. My exact words, mouthed and spoken, but unheard to me were "(Mia), I did it, come quickly." I think I even heard a response in my head from her. I started looking around for her, directly behind me, all around the room, but she never appeared, so I left the room and started wandering my house.

My house was a lot different than it really was. In fact, I only knew it as "my house" because of that intuition you feel sometimes when you're in a warped version of an area. There were halloween decorations hanging from the roof (plastic pumpkins on strings, mostly). I continue to wander around, looking at different rooms. Eventually, I look at a digital clock in the "phase." As expected, I get a time (10:12). Then it pops into my head to do a reality check. I look at another clock and stare at it. The time was different (2:12), and the numbers quickly blurred and smeared like I was using Photoshop on them. I looked out of a window and saw a small garden and noticed the sky was a strange brownish color. I woke up not long after that.

I woke up feeling extremely proud of myself for a moment, then it clicked that I couldn't have actually phased because I realized that I was "on auto-pilot" the entire time during the experience. I would've gone back to sleep to see if I could do it for real this time, but I'm wired now. (I find I'm usually quite wide awake after very vivid dreams.)

Still, a vivid dream about a successful phase on a full moon night. I don't believe in coincidences. If I get to sleep again, I'm pretty sure I'll do it for real this time.

Perhaps it was a very shallow phase verging on vivid dreaming or vice versa.  Whatever the case, it seems like you are close.  Dream consciousness might be your forte.  Well done!  :)
THE PHASE = waking consciousness during sleep hybridisation at 40Hz of brainwave activity conducive to lucid dreaming and autoscopy.
