Yes! This happens in science all the time. You do not understand the vocabulary that you are trying to use. Take the cold fusion research for example. Many times it was repeated and sometimes with similar positive results and sometimes not. It was soon discovered that the purity of the core metal being used was a factor... and the science marches on...Summerlander wrote: Rudolph,
Have you ever recreated the experiment yourself, repeated it and verified it as being strong evidence? No.
It is nothing like what you seem to imagine.
[if you got a roomful of scientists and engineers together and one claimed to have rock solid incontrovertible "proof" of any sort of cutting edge experimentation going on, the room would burst out in laughter -- it would be considered a joke]
Yes, I am. Most scientists are. It is obvious that you do not understand the elementary principles involved. If you are comfortable with calling that "strong evidence" be my guest.
Anyway, there are many claims out there which I find dubious and there are usually ulterior motives.
It is called junk science. Like the Global Warming scam.
If you are calling Dr. Tart a charlatan and are ready to defend your accusation, go ahead. Otherwise you are just muddying the waters to hide the fact that you don't know what you are talking about.
And now you slide back into your presumptuous tone as though you know better than I do what I should concern myself with. How arrogant. The only thing you should concern yourself with is your own experiences
